Next Level's scope of work with respect to humanitarian organizations, such as non-governmental and community-based organizations, is about shifting them into a higher level of governance where the humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence are highly reflected in their business functions, routines, policies and procedures. And that would be achieved by providing those organizations with the respective capacity strengthening programs that are based on detailed assessments to the risk environment under their scope of work, organizational capacity, program capacity, financial capacity and the general governance. Capacity strengthening programs include, and not limited to, staff capacity development, development of policies and standard operating procedures, strengthening of internal controls, organizational structuring and restructuring, business development strategies and models, fraud prevention and counter-fraud mechanisms, safeguarding, support services management, human resources and volunteers management.
